Muscat Azzopardi & Associates is a commercial law firm based in Malta with a predominantly international clientele.
Judge Godwin Muscat Azzopardi set up the firm in 1971 and was joined by his sons James and Adrian in 1999 and 2003 respectively. Judge Godwin Muscat Azzopardi served as a Judge in the Commercial and Appeals Court in Malta until he was appointed as a United Nations judge in Kosovo where he served for 6 years, re-joining the firm upon his retirement from Kosovo in 2010.
James and Adrian formed Credence Corporate and Advisory Services Limited (www.credence.com.mt) in 2006 as a joint venture with another commercial law firm, Vella Advocates, and with an accountant, Andrew Cefai. The team today consists of 30 lawyers and accountants and advises a wide portfolio of institutional as well as private clients across the globe, including some of the world’s leading global banks, law firms, asset managers, shipping companies and fiduciary companies. Credence Holdings Limited is a sister company and is licensed by the Malta Financial Services Authority to provide fiduciary and trustee services.
Muscat Azzopardi & Associates is the preferred local Maltese firm for a number of global law firms whom we advise on a regular basis.
